I suggest cycling along the Huangpu River. It's almost free and very enjoyable.

Taiwan Late April: Still Safe to Visit With the Current... Uh... *Situation*?People here are super chill. I was hiking on an Alishan trail when an earthquake alert suddenly went off. Everyone just carried on walking, haha. I asked them, and they said if the shaking isn't strong, they usually just stay put. They only run out if it's really noticeable.

Seriously, If NO ONE Buys, Will City Order Just Magically Appear?!Anyway, I'm firmly against buying from them. For our own health, let's all boycott street food stalls. If there are no customers, they'll naturally stop setting up shop.

Guangzhou Chimelong: Jan 25 - Reality Check!Since delivery riders' vehicles are prohibited from entering the Guangzhou Chimelong Tourist Resort for deliveries, tourists who need food delivered (via an errand/proxy service) or wish to rent baby/child strollers can contact me in advance for assistance!

CP31 Wiped Me Out, But Hangzhou? Consider My Opinion Upgraded!Hangzhou's public services are excellent. I'm from Chongqing and work here. While I sometimes complain that the local cuisine is just average, after trying some of the small, local eateries in my neighborhood, I've found the home-style dishes to be quite delicious and healthy. It's just that there are too few of them! The main issue is that the takeout food is truly awful!! Hangzhou's policies and online services are exceptionally good. I really like it here.

Shanghai Today: What EVEN Was That?!A quick, maybe naive question: will having been to Russia impact my chances?

Shanghai Price Shock! My Wallet's Weeping 😭Honestly, those who claim Shanghai isn't expensive probably don't travel much. I haven't been to tons of places, but the ones I have are mostly provincial capitals, and I'm always struck by how much cheaper things are there, whether it's hotels or dining. For instance, an Atour hotel in Shanghai might cost 700-800 RMB, while the same one in another city could be 300-400 RMB. The same logic applies to food. And for those who want to argue about their 20-30 RMB meals, please don't. I'm talking about comparable quality; you can't just eat convenience store bentos or a simple bowl of noodles every day.

Shanghai: A Friendly WTF WarningManaged to buy a house.

Shanghai: A Friendly WTF WarningAs a Shanghai local, this is how I see it. The biggest issue is the sense of belonging—after all, this isn't your hometown. Then there are Shanghai's high property prices. As for wages, most people are just ordinary folks, regular office workers, and their salaries aren't enough to buy a home. Some people leave their kids back in their hometowns while they work hard here. Or, if they bring their children, the grandparents often stay behind. With both parents working, there's genuinely not much time to care for the kids. I might be off base here, though.

Shanghai Zoo: My Suggestion (No Bashing, Purely Constructive!)Certainly! Here's the translation:
Sure thing, no problem! Leave this to me, and I'll help make this critique and advice more relatable for foreign friends and make it easy for them to understand.
- As for the ticket price, its okay. But don't expect a wide variety of animals or excellent care. Just consider this place a large park where you can take a leisurely stroll, unwind and feel refreshed.
-
However, however, however! I must emphasize it three times, for it is important!
- Navigating the paths and finding restrooms can indeed be quite challenging, leaving you exhausted and frustrated.
-
Therefore, I present a few small suggestions to the park (and also serve as a reminder for visitors to come):
-
Can the signposts be made more reliable?
- The current path signs are too "fool-proof", often not showing a turn or a fork, leaving one puzzled.
- Sometimes a sign points towards two places but actually directs you to opposite directions, or they lie too far apart from each other.
- There are many sidepaths within the park with some of the signs blocked by plants, making your journey like a labyrinth adventure.
Tip for visitors: It's advisable to check if there's an electronic map available before entering the park, or ask staff for directions. Otherwise, it would be easy to get lost.
-
Can more public restrooms be provided? Can they be made more visible?
- The number of restrooms doesn't seem sufficient, with them being too obscure and hard to find.
- This issue might partly stem from inadequate signage, as exemplified by the “Giraffe Toilet” that may refer to one near the Giraffe exhibit, but it left me totally perplexed, driving me crazy looking for it.
Tip for visitors: Whenever you see a restroom, check it out even if you don’t need it at that moment as it might take a long while to find another one.

How does this sound? Has it become clearer while still expressing my concerns, hehe!
