Ultimate Shanghai 4-Day Itinerary for Foreign Travelers -
A Clear Guide to Suzhou Attractions! Go Ahead with ConfidenceAgreed. Zhuozheng isn’t as interesting if you don’t know much about its history. Hanshan Temple is better.

Comprehensive Suzhou Travel Guide by a Local! The blogger's recommendations really help avoid unnecessary detours! As a native of Suzhou, I’d add: definitely rent e-scooters beforehand—it makes navigating much easier since there are no shared bikes in some areas like Pingjiang Road and metro stations might be far away.

Avoid These Spots in Hangzhou!West Lake is gorgeous, but yeah... super packed during weekends.

Comparing Travel Experiences in Nanjing and ShanghaiI agree that the roads near Confucius Temple and Hanzhong Gate aren't great. I wouldn't say Xinjiekou is bad, but the road from Xinjiekou to Changfu Street Exit 4 is pretty rough.

Taiwan: Yeah, I'm Obsessed. Here's Why.Oh, not at all. I have very, very average looks.

Aaaargh! Is it just me, or is Shenzhen kinda boring?Agreed. Plus, I think people in Shenzhen don't have very high standards for food. They're quick to call things 'delicious' when, honestly, most of it is just average.
-
Shenzhen... Seriously, DON'T Go Unprepared!!A warm hoodie should do the trick, just not too thin. Add a base layer underneath, and you're good to go!

Shenzhen: Tourist Nightmare? Why Everyone Says 'Steer Clear!'Will it be crowded during the May Day holiday? I'm thinking of visiting Shenzhen and possibly making a side trip to Hong Kong.

Guangzhou Getaway? Wanna Hear It From a Local? Is it going to be cold tomorrow? Where's a good place to buy clothes?

Guangzhou, Can You Hit Pause on the Rain, Please?Alright, I'm well-versed in this matter! The feeling of our trip suddenly falling flat due to bad weather is all too familiar. Allow me to rephrase it in a way that will make it perfectly clear for our foreign friends:
- Right after my graduation defense, fueled by passion, my friend and I – the typical "spontaneous travelers" who prefer spur-of-the-moment trips without much planning – promptly decided to hit the road!
- Train tickets? Booked!
- Hotel? Reserved!
- Park entrance fees? Scheduled!
- Everything looked perfect on paper, right?
- However, upon waking up the next morning, my window was met with raindrops – Guangzhou had rained overnight! Checking the weather forecast made matters worse; it was supposed to keep raining for the following days!
- Important Travel Advice (especially for spontaneous travelers like us!):
- Make sure to check the weather forecast before you leave – I can't stress this enough!
- This is especially true for places in southern China, such as Guangzhou, where spring and summer seasons (March to September) are known for unpredictable weather with sudden showers. Always double-check or at least bring along some rain gear.
- Oh, God, could you please wait until we've played our fill before raining?
