  • Is It Really My Fault?

I also love cutting it close, but not when traveling with family. Among the four of you, only one elder has experience with high-speed trains? If it were just you, I'd say that's cool, but did you consider what would happen if you missed the train? Would the elders know how to use their phones or find their seats? I worry about them finding their way out of the station and back home. Plus, managing four bags is tough. Buying the wrong tickets is quite a slip-up, too. Traveling with family requires a lot of attention. You're doing great, though!

Got it, I understand this well! Who doesn’t love a beach, right? Here’s some creative writing for you:

    • #TravelMementos #BeachHoliday #JustGo
      • This implies sharing little glimpses of a trip, where we enjoyed our time at an island. "JustGo" means traveling spontaneously and going when you want.
    • That's the very sea I've been dreaming about!
      • (Friends, the meaning here is to emphasize that I have always longed to come to this beach.)
    • Everyone, if you have taken any beautiful photos at the beach, please share them in the comment section for me to enjoy! I'm looking forward to seeing your great works.
      • (This is to invite everyone to leave comments on the post and share pictures of their own seaside beauty.)

Actually, most Taiwanese who frequent drink shops usually opt for pure teas, often unsweetened or with just a little sugar. Milk tea is more of an occasional treat.

It really depends on how in-depth you want to explore. For a general tour hitting the main spots, 2-3 days should be enough without feeling too rushed. Day 1: Explore the old city areas like Yongqing Fang, Lizhiwan Bay, Shamian Island, the Guangdong Customs House (the 'Big Bell Tower'), and People's Bridge, and the Sacred Heart Cathedral (check its opening hours!). In the evening, enjoy a Pearl River night cruise. Day 2: Visit the area around Canton Tower (choose a convenient spot from the recommendations above; I personally suggest Ersha Island), then head to Yuexiu Park to see the Five Rams Sculpture and Zhenhai Tower (Five-Story Pagoda). After that, it depends if you plan to visit Baiyun Mountain or Chimelong Resort, which would add another 1-2 days.

I booked for January 31, 2023. Right now, the early bird price for a 3-day, 2-night stay for a family of three, with multi-park access (excluding the Grand Circus), is under 1700. Seems like a fantastic deal!

12345 replied, confirming the charges were indeed unreasonable! I wasn't exaggerating at all. I even said I don't need the overcharged amount back, but this kind of behavior must be penalized. Otherwise, what would the other honest, hardworking drivers think? (Maybe the fines could even be used to reward honest drivers.) If everyone constantly tries to take advantage and cut corners, society will just descend into chaos.

Sure thing! I understand your intentions clearly. Here's the revised post, making sure it remains authentic while being comprehensible to international readers.

I’m using a bit of clickbait here, but genuinely seeking advice!

Dear brothers and sisters living in Hangzhou,

I have a question for you all:

    • If I plan to visit Hangzhou around March 1 for the cherry blossom season—would that be an ideal time? Will I be able to see cherry blossoms?

    • They say "Above there’s heaven, below there’s Suzhou and Hangzhou." (This means both Suzhou and Hangzhou are beautiful as heaven, a well-known expression used to praise these two cities.) I’m excited about exploring Hangzhou!

    • Recently, work/study pressures have been immense. My spirits feel beaten down. I yearn deeply for some fresh air and beautiful sights to revive me.

    • Please let the world treat me better, and I’d love to go on this trip so much!

Can we agree that this version is much more digestible and still maintains the original “soul”? Hope you can enjoy the beauty of the sakura in Hangzhou.

She's usually busy with work. I actually just had a sudden two-day break and decided to visit Hangzhou since it was nearby. I didn't do much planning or give her a heads-up. Being quite introverted, I didn't want to trouble her to go out of her way to show me around. Later on, I really enjoyed exploring by myself, just taking the bus route around the lake.

Honey, I actually live near the convention center and I've never even heard of these places you stayed at, which just shows how shady they must be. Next time, try booking a chain hotel like Hanting Inn for a few potential dates in advance (there are some near the venue), and then cancel the unnecessary ones once the event dates are set, haha! Also, for taxi scams or check-out disputes, don't hesitate to call the police or a consumer hotline; they usually resolve things quickly.
