The best way to enjoy Shenzhen is to find a nice spot with a good view, like a cafe or tea house. Just sit down, enjoy the scenery, chat, read, or browse your phone, and then head to a nearby restaurant for a meal when it's time.

My biggest impression visiting Guangzhou from Nanning is that in such a big city where every inch of land is precious, the roads are narrow, there are no dedicated lanes for non-motorized vehicles, taxis are expensive, and journeys take a long time. Also, compared to Nanning, there are actually far fewer e-bikes on the roads here.

The annoying thing about the takeout was they only gave me gloves—no spoon or chopsticks! I wonder if trying to eat congee with my hands will make me look like a complete barbarian.

The reason is, I haven't used subway luggage storage in Nanchang myself, but I often see others doing it when I take the subway, so I mistakenly assumed Nanchang had a policy allowing this. Also, please note, the people bringing suitcases onto the Nanchang subway are usually not locals, so please don't attack Nanchang residents. OMG!
