Sure, here's the translation for your experience in Beijing that you want to share with foreign friends using a more colloquial and understandable style:

Wow, folks, I need to be honest with you: some parts of Beijing are so crowded that it almost felt like I was going to throw up because of the sheer number of people—no joke, no excuses, just literal "surging crowds"!

However, don't misunderstand; this magnificent city itself is breathtakingly beautiful, and its residents are incredibly welcoming; I had an overall fulfilling experience during my visit!

Let me share a small secret to taking awe-inspiring photos at Temple of Heaven (Tiantan) with my sisters (of course, and brothers too!)

    • A brief background of Temple of Heaven:
      • It was once a place where emperors worshiped the heaven and sought for a good harvest, and so it's not only visually stunning but also carries profound historical significance. You'll see the iconic "Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests", where its red walls and blue terracotta roof sparkle in the sun, making it a must-visit photo spot!
    • The best spots to take photos:
      * It goes without saying that waiting in line is inevitable!
      * Once you find the classic angle, make sure to use your mobile device's "Zoom" feature! This will allow you to eliminate some crowds from the shot and get a clean background.
      * Then shoot! Shoot away!

    ⚠️ Travel Tips & Notes:

    • Busy crowd warning!
      • Problem: Famous attractions, especially during holidays or weekends, can be excessively crowded, to the point where it might feel uncomfortable.
      • How to deal with it:
        • If possible, try to visit workdays instead of weekends.
        • Or arrive early when the place opens, as there would be fewer people then.
        • Keep your patience, as crowds are a norm and must be expected.
    • Be patient with taking photos:
      * Problem: Popular photo spots generally require queuing.
      * How to deal with it:
      • Either go early to secure your spot or just approach it with mindfulness and patience.
      • Show respect toward those around you.

I hope these tips help you have a pleasant experience!

I'm a Beijinger, just chilling at home... No need to be so aggressive.

I'm from Guangdong, and when I went to Beijing for Chinese New Year, I heard Cantonese everywhere. For a moment, I almost thought I hadn't even left the province!

Same here! Today in Beijing, I heard Cantonese everywhere. Even on the high-speed train back to Tianjin, the people next to me were speaking Cantonese. I thought I was still in the south!

Using the word 'disgusting' is a bit inappropriate! If you don't like it, you don't have to come.

As a foreigner, perhaps you shouldn't be so picky.

What crowds? There was hardly anyone there yesterday evening.

Generally, there are fewer people around late November or mid-December.

So, when are there fewer people? Are weekdays crowded too? I'm planning to visit sometime in the first half of this year.

When I visited Beijing during the pandemic, there were very few people. The Forbidden City was practically empty.

Beijing during Chinese New Year? Of course it's going to be crowded!

Actually, Beijing isn't crowded during Chinese New Year! Most people go back to their hometowns, so the main streets are pretty quiet.

Beijing locals don't even dare to go out then.
